So What Scale is a tool to see, hear and practice scales and modes. It has no user accounts, shows no ads, and doesn't sell or share data with anyone.
What's stored on your device
The last scale, root, colors, Jam settings and options you chose are saved in your browser's local storage so the app opens where you left it. They never leave your device. Your answer to the analytics notice is saved too.
Visit analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits in aggregate (page views, country, device type). It uses no cookies, stores nothing on your device and can't identify you.
Google Analytics is used only if you accept it in the notice. It uses first-party cookies (_ga) to tell visits apart and shows us which parts of the app get used. Advertising features are turned off. You can change your choice at any time from

If you withdraw it, we delete those cookies.
Third-party services
The fonts and the whole site are served from our own server on Amazon Web Services; the domain uses Cloudflare. We don't load fonts or resources from other servers, except for the analytics above.
